CRIMINAL Will Not Support BRUJERIA In Brazil
August 3, 2004Anglo-Chilean metallurgists CRIMINAL, featuring former PENTAGRAM frontman Anton Reisenegger, have issued a statement to clarify that they will NOT be supporting BRUJERIA in Brazil.
"Apparently, a new Brazilian band is using our name," says Reisenegger. "We are not saying they are doing it with bad intentions, but we will approach them and ask them to change their name in order to avoid any further confusion."
In other news, CRIMINAL have confirmed bassist Aldo Celle from Viña del Mar, Chile as part of their touring line-up.
CRIMINAL's next live appearance will take place on Friday, August 20 at the Summer Breeze festival in Abtsgmünd near Aalen, Germany. The band will be taking the Main Stage at 13:15.
CRIMINAL's latest CD, "No Gods No Masters", was released in February through Metal Blade Records. The album was recorded at Springvale Studios in Suffolk, U.K. and was completed after the departure of bassist Rob Eaglestone (ex-CRADLE OF FILTH),with bass duties being handled by the band's two guitarists.
